when it comes to power tools, i've always been a fan of german brands. bosch and dewalt are like swiss watches, expensive but made to a high quality and get the job done. japanese brands like hitatchi and makita seem to the job to a a very high standard and even provide better results. this video just shows that, even while the dewalt drill has more advantages, the makita is performing just as well. it goes to show…
Dewalt is actually American.
The only Dewalt tools I have worked with are cordless drills and I don't like them, I just can't get the right feeling for them.
When it comes to cordless drills I love the Bosch drills, even the green Bosch lithium are pretty good for the little money you pay. I have had some Hitachi's but they either broke down or were too heavy.
I found a shop where they let me test different brands (Bosch, Dewalt, Makita, Hitachi, Festool) and my next one will be a Makita.
i stand corrected on my knowledge of dewalt. still, dewalt is a great maker of power tools. i hate brands like ryobi and stanley.
Not that it matters but it's funny that you mention Stanley because Dewalt is actually a subsidiary of Stanley Black & Decker.
I thought Stanley only makes hand tools?
By the way, I love their hand planes and chisels.
nope, in the uk black&decker and stanley are worshipped. i found out that dewalt is a subsidiary of stanley and black&decker today.
check out a website called argoe, you can see the range of cheap tools (uk only, but worth a browse)
Yeah, just seen them, really had no idea they make power tools. And omg, those Stanley cordless drills are heavy, even the smaller 10.8V is twice the weight of my Bosch 14.4V!
which is why they should stick to regular handtools
Awesome video! Thanks! Looking forward to more!
Is the point to show that both of them are not worth a shit for the job at hand? If it took me that long to run a lag I would be out of business.
I would faster twisted these Screws by hand
clearly i saw he stop and dont pull completely the trigger on makita … it s very manipulated !!!!!! so makita is much better… and long life,,, dewalt just have a short life,,,
makita off course
Nice comparison. Funny the Makita owners are crying foul? Myself…I bought a cheap ass harbor freight! Not!
I thought the white makitas you find on eBay are chinese knockoffs!
Either way, I have makita tools from 10years ago, value/build quality, makita is up there.
Used them all. Makita is easy on the hands. Dewalt is nice and solid. Milwaukee is damn heavy. Bosch is for girls. Hitachi sander is the best. Makita cordless grinder is indestructible. They all do the job. St the end of the day Its how you handle it .
reviews and tests? really? not in the video i just saw.
Dewalt is a garbage American company, wouldn't trust American owned shit as far as I could throw it.
Once again, a couple dumb dumb DeWalt-aholics trying to prove their brand is better than Makita. Please people who watch this video, do not buy into the snake oil they are trying to sell. All the professional reviews like Popular Mechanics place Makita above all the competitors. The quality of Makita is above and beyond the rest in the field. Now unlike the idiots who claim "my DeWalt is da best y'all – pew pew Merica!" (Same for Milwaukee – BTW, Made by TOKYO Techotronics – and you thought Makita was a Japanese name, you've been had) all power tools in this price point are amazing quality. It all comes down to personal preference and experience. For me, it is Makita… Merica!
WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH
