Desalt makes some decent products being in the commercial industry I put mine to the test and it holds up just fine to the other brand names. Only thing is the description is wrong this impact is single led not the upgraded 3led lighted one.

Changed my mind from my fist review. My sister had a 200 foot long wood fence secured by nails. I bought a 5 pound box of screws. Three hours later, the whole fence now has upper, middle and lower screws. Great power out of this unit. I did use an after market 5 amp battery (bought on Amazon). I recommend the high amp batteries.

Review for battery size, not Impact Driver…the product listing (Amazon site) indicates a battery with 1.5 Ah capacity. The product container box came with a hand-check mark area: DCB 207 or DCB 203. My included battery was the older (and smaller) DCB 207 1.3 Ah. From what I can tell, you can’t even buy that smallest size battery new any more. I guess DeWalt product mangers thought it would be a great idea to ship their old (smaller capacity) stock out with the 2018 “special buy” packaging. Big deal, who knows? But beware- you will probably be getting a shorter life, older battery model with 15% less capacity that the smallest of the small currently sold. And when/if you try to contact DeWalt online chat, don’t be surprised if their chat function leaves you waiting… beware (I gave them 10 minutes…)
