This was a very good value for both tools. The majority of my cordless tools are Porter Cable, the quality is excellent. I have tried other brands but the 20v Max series delivers better for me. There are higher end products such as Makita, Bosch and If I were a journeyman I would most likely opt for the higher end products. I am an avid fan of DIY and these work great for me.

Product arrived 9/17. Charged battery overnight. Power drill appears fine. Sawzall will not work. The Sawzall seems refurbished to me, but I ordered a replacement anyway. Return process is really easy.

Update (9/21):new package arrived yesterday, and everything appears to work great. Put the Tiger Saw through some pretty rough tree trimming and works great. I’m going to upgrade my rating from a 1 to 4 but not a 5 (although I’m really pleased with the product).

I’ve already used these tools for several projects around the house, and they work really well. They seem to be good quality units, though they are not (and not priced to be) contractor grade tools. The stock battery is a 2.0 Ah/20V unit. It doesn’t have a long life when running the Sawzall, but recharges very quickly. I bought a SISGAD 5.0 Ah battery to supplement this kit, as well as a P+C oscillating saw/multi-tool. All in all, this upgrade over my old corded and 12.0/14.0V tools has made life much easier at a very reasonable cost.
